Legal
Terms & Conditions
These terms cover your use of this website. They’re written to be readable. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
1. Who we are
This website, www.greyematter.com, is operated by Jonathan Greye, doing business as Greye Matter (“we,” “us,” “our”). You can reach us at jon@greyematter.com.
2. Using this site
You may browse and share this site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- Copy, reproduce, or republish the site’s design, copy, or images without permission
- Use the site or contact form to send spam, harmful code, or unlawful content
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its hosting
- Scrape or harvest content or contact information from the site
3. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise noted, the content on this site, including text, design, layout, graphics, and the Jonathan Greye and Greye Matter names, belongs to Jonathan Greye and is protected by copyright and trademark law.
Project work shown in the portfolio was created for the clients named and is displayed to illustrate our services. Rights in that work may belong to those clients.
Third-party names and logos shown on this site, including companies, publications, media platforms, and awards, are the trademarks of their respective owners. They’re shown to reference past work, recognition, or where clients have been featured, and they don’t imply endorsement of us by those organizations.
Unbrand Yourself is a book by Jonathan Greye. Purchases are made through third-party retailers such as Amazon and are subject to their terms.
4. Information on this site
The content on this site is for general information about our services and perspective. It isn’t legal, financial, or other professional advice, and it isn’t a guarantee of any particular result. Testimonials reflect individual clients’ experiences, and results vary.
5. Working together
Nothing on this site is an offer to provide services. Any engagement is governed by a separate written proposal or agreement between you and us, which will control if it conflicts with these terms. Booking a call or submitting the contact form doesn’t create a client relationship.
6. Contact form and your information
When you submit the contact form, the name, email, and message you provide are delivered to us by email through FormSubmit, a third-party service. We use that information to respond to you and discuss a potential project. We don’t sell it, and we don’t add you to a marketing list without your permission. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, and our Cookie Policy covers the services this site uses. If you opt in to text messages, our Texting Policy also applies.
7. Links to other websites
This site links to websites we don’t control, including Calendly, Amazon, client websites, and social media platforms. We aren’t responsible for their content, policies, or practices, and your use of them is subject to their terms.
8. Disclaimer
This site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, about the site’s accuracy, completeness, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We may change, update, or remove content at any time without notice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jonathan Greye and Greye Matter won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of or inability to use this site or any linked site.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Greye Matter maintains its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in that state.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated terms.
